What is the difference between “prefinished”, “unfinished” and “white primed” doors?
Primed doors are already treated with a base coat of a paint called primer. However, they need to be painted before you can hang them. In contrast, pre-finished or fully-finished doors are primed, painted, and ready to be fitted.
What is the difference between FD30 and FD60 doors?
FD30 doors offer 30 minutes of fire resistance, while FD60 doors offer 60 minutes of fire protection.
What type of glass is used on the glazed doors?
Tinted glass is a special type of glass often used on glazed doors.
What is the thickness of the glass on all Deanta doors?
All clear glazed doors have toughened glass that is 4mm thick as standard. Our ordinary obscure glazed doors, on the other hand, contain 7mm thick laminated obscure glass that is smoother on both sides to provide a high-quality finish. The certified fire doors are fitted by authorised skilled glaziers at our facilities and use Certifire approved 8mm thick fire glass.
How are the feature doors constructed?
Each Deanta door is manufactured using an engineered solid core, and finished with a high quality, natural wood veneer.
How much can be taken off the sides of the feature doors?
Take no more than 32mm off the width and height of your door in equal amounts on all edges.
What can I use to reseal my doors?
You can use any product that is suitable for internal joinery to reseal our doors.
How many hinges would you recommend?
We recommend using 3 hinges per door, due to the solid and heavy construction of our doors.
Do Deanta offer a guarantee on products?
Yes, all our products come with a 10-year warranty.
Can I buy doors that look all the same?
Deanta offers a diverse selection of door colours, sizes, and finishes. You can buy doors that all look the same, which is great if you have a certain theme or idea for your home, but you can also buy different doors to give your home a distinctive look.
